In February 2025, JOST World completed their acquisition of Hyva. As a result, Hyva made the decision to close their local Beresfield branch. For operators across the Hunter Region, that meant losing their closest point of contact for hydraulic equipment, tipping cylinders, hook loaders and skip loaders. Trucksmart stepped in to fill that gap.
How it came together
In April 2025, Darren Stocks joined Trucksmart as our Business Development Manager. Darren spent five years as a sales manager for Hyva, so he brought deep product knowledge and strong customer relationships with him. In addition, our workshop and parts operation was already well established in Beresfield. Because of that, partnering with Hyva for sales, service and parts was a natural fit. Operators who previously dealt with Hyva’s local branch now have a familiar face and a local team to call on.
Once again, adding to our range of services to help local operators stay on the road.
What we offer
From our Beresfield location, we support Hyva customers with sales, spare parts and workshop service. This includes tipping cylinders, hook loaders, skip loaders and related hydraulic transport equipment. Furthermore, we cover operators across Newcastle, Maitland, Port Stephens, the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast.
